The Bonnet Box from Storage Box Solutions is a free standing multi use storage container that is normally located at the front of a parking stall. With up to 127 cu/ft of storage the Bonnet Box is ideal for securely holding many commonly used items such as bicycles, golf clubs, ski equipment, seasonal tires, seasonal clothing, camping gear, etc. in a quick to access location. For those already paying for similar off-site storage, the Bonnet Box increases access and convenience with virtually no increase in cost. With the Bonnet Box you can turn unused space into a highly functional storage locker.

The SBS Bonnet Box™ is a free-standing storage box designed for indoor use. It is placed at the front of a parking stall, within the width of the stall. The unit is supported by adjustable legs to be positioned over the car, SUV, or truck hood. It is constructed with powder coated steel and galvanized steel, making it durable, secure and private.

Each unit weighs approximately 440 pounds and has up to 125 cubic feet of storage, and the capacity to hold up to 900 pounds. It handles many of your storage needs including camping gear, coolers, golf clubs, bicycles, skis, hockey gear, seasonal tires, and file storage boxes.

Design

The attractive Bonnet Box design provides convenience and ease of use. The large top opening door with gas struts provides easy access. Our broad selection accommodates various sized parking stalls. Anti-tipping hardware provides extra stability and brackets are available for wall attachment if desired. Holes in the top allow for ventilation and emergency sprinkler access. A 2-point lock is standard. Plastic capped adjustment bolts at the base of the legs reduce potential water and salt corrosion.

We offer one standard powder coat finish colour, with 21 additional RAL colour choice options for orders of over 30 boxes.

Returns

Returned products will not be accepted without prior written authorization. A return of standard products will be subject to a 30% to 70% restocking charge.  Returned products must be received in the same condition as originally shipped, in original packaging with freight charges prepaid by the customer.  Custom products cannot be returned. Email claims@storageboxsolutions.ca to request a Return Material Authorization number.

Freight

For new product deliveries, freight charges, as determined by the carrier, may be prepaid and added to the invoice, if desired. Unless specific instructions are given, the shipment method and carrier will be determined by Storage Box Solutions Inc. Actual shipping weights will apply.  Shipping weights provided with product information are approximate.

Loss or Damage

Storage Box Solutions is not responsible for loss or damage in transit. If the buyer declines the freight service specified by Storage Box Solutions Inc., then the  freight carrier will be an agent of the buyer and claims must be filed with that carrier. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to make note of any shortage and damage, or marks indicating possible concealed damage on the original freight bill before signing for receipt of goods. Delivery agent must also sign. Storage Box Solutions Inc. will file a claim on behalf of the buyer only if the loss is claimed within 5 business days after the receipt of goods.

Consequential Damages

In no event shall Storage Box Solutions Inc. be liable for special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, loss of life, or damage to other property, inconvenience, loss of goodwill, lost profits or revenue, loss of use of the products, cost of substitutive products or modifications, downtime costs, other equipment costs or claims of any party dealing with purchaser for such damages, resulting from the use of this product or caused by any defect in this product. The purchaser agrees to hold Storage Box Solutions Inc, its owners, employees and agents harmless against any such claims.

Storage Box Solutions Inc. warrants products against defect in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of invoice. In the event of a warranty claim, a copy of the invoice must be provided. Warranties do not cover any defects or failure or damages due to vandalism, abuse, accidents, lack of maintenance, or improper installation.  The warranty will not apply if Storage Box Solutions Inc. is not notified within 10 calendar days immediately following the product failure.

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable should the unit be sold to a subsequent owner. 

It is the responsibility of the buyer or user to inspect the product before installation for defects or damage which may have been incurred on-site or in transit. Failure to completely inspect of the product will void this warranty.

The obligation of Storage Box Solutions Inc. under this warranty will be limited to repair or replacement, at its discretion, of products found in its reasonable judgement to have been defective in workmanship or materials. Transportation charges for return of defective products will be assumed by Storage Box Solutions Inc. only if returned by the buyer in strict accordance with the written instructions of Storage Box Solutions Inc. Storage Box Solutions Inc. will assume transportation charges for shipment of repaired or replaced product to the buyer, but will not be responsible for the cost of labor for removal of defective products or installation of replacement products

All claims made under the terms of this warranty must be received in writing along with a copy of the original invoice. Claims must be sent to Storage Box Solutions Inc. at claims@storageboxsolutions.ca.
